And who said I can’t snack at 2:30 am?
I was talking to Lyle on the phone when I felt the hunger pangs. Well, I was not surprised because my only meal yesterday was dinner which consisted of grilled chicken breast and wing and a cup of white rice.

Just two days ago, I had a weigh-in and was pleased that unclothed, I weighed 134 lbs. But when I weighed myself right before starting this blog post, I was 2 lbs. heavier at 136 lbs. I had a very light dinner of brown rice, fish, and leafy vegetables so I know that it’s not the culprit. For most women who report bloating and weight gain during the menstrual period, the most common reason is water retention.
