Tuna Tocino:  My kind of dupe…

I joined one or two badminton sessions since February 17, 2009. Very bad, really. I was out of town on two occasions and something came up recently that even if I really want to, I just don’t have the time for a badminton game. Not even for a 30-minute cardio exercise with Shaun T.

I am still on a no beef, no pork diet so I try my hardest to stick to it. Lyle had burger steak yesterday, which I really, really like. I wanted to have a teeniest-tiniest bit of the burger steak but I remembered that I can’t so I had to look the other way. Literally.

Hurray for Hip Hop Saturdays!

Last night, I joined another session of Project Kool-Lab, a hip hop class at the Metro Lifestyle Fitness Center.  Scheduled every Saturday at 6:45 pm to 9:45pm, the dance class is organized by Groove Unlimited Dance Community under the mentoring of Bryan Grandeza.

Breaded Soft Tofu with Teriyaki Sauce @ Lachi's Sans Rival Atbp

Tofu:  Nutritious and delicious…

Playing games:  Three Bloggers and the Sexitary

And so over a bowl of noodles more than a week ago, I forged a pact with three other bloggers.  We promised to play badminton at  least once a week for a healthier 2010.

We have invited more people to join our group and although they are not bound by the pact like the original members are, they are fueled by the same desire to at least be a little healthier this year.

So I decided not to have red meat this year.  So far, I’ve been successful.  I dined out 5 times in the last 9 days and I stuck to ordering chicken or fish.

But at one point, I came close to dropping my resolve to abstain from red meat because Lyle and I went to a dimsum place called Dimsum Diner.  There, we ordered Yang Chow Fried Rice.  For those who are not familiar with it, Yang Chow Fried rice is a Cantones-style wok fried rice that had shrimp and pork as its main ingredients (ours had chorizo macau and pork asado).
