After eating a bowl of spicy ramen for dinner (no, I didn’t have any of the pork bits), I decided to revive this blog. My last update was three months ago and I haven’t lost a pound since then.
Also, it has been exactly two months since I last played badminton with my friends. I miss playing badminton but I just don’t have the time for it right now. I’m very busy with errands and backlogs. Plus, I had a foot injury which still causes some residual pain.
Excuses, ecxuses.
Well, anyway, the holiday season is just around the corner and common sense tells me to make the extra effort to lose some weight. I usually gain an extra 5-10 pounds during the holidays so if I’m 134 lbs. now I’ll be 144 lbs. next year if I don’t shape up.
But…December 31st will be the last day of my “No Red Meat” policy and I’ve been thinking of gorging on steak, balamban liempo (broiled pork), lechon (roast pig), and callos (beef tripe and sausage with chickpeas) on the first week of 2011. I also want to have spaghetti with meatballs and probably some spicy pork ribs.
Not. Good. At. All.
