My last blog update was more than 3 weeks ago. I won’t bother to make excuses and it’s really irresponsible of me to have done so.
These past three weeks, I haven’t been to conscious with my food intake. I attended this blogging event for two days (March 13-14) and OMG, the food was plentiful and delicious. For the first day of the blogging event, we went to this restaurant which served authentic Japanese food. It was my first time to be there so I kinda pigged out on the sukiyaki, dumplings, and mixed sashimi. I also had stir-fried vegetables.
For the second day, I was really stuffed with baby back ribs, carbs, grilled chicken, and seafood. I went overboard, yes. But I also had physical activity– not much, just some walking and a very steep climb. I was so unprepared that time that I felt faint. But somehow, I am glad that I had the chance to sweat it out.
Also, I celebrated my birthday last March 17 and for the occasion, I had chicken, a nacho-stuffed wrap, a piece of cake, halo-halo, and pasta. Not bad, huh?
For about a week now, I have been consuming a lot of fish, vegetables….and white rice. I still try to watch what I eat, nothing too heavy but when you have very limited physical activity, even a moderate amount of calories per meal is still a tad too much.
