Dieter’s Pothole

Category : General Dieting and Weight Loss

I believe  I just encountered one major obstacle tonight.  I realized it is very difficult to keep track of   food portions when dining out with a group.  I mean, I find it easy to eat by myself or with my boyfriend be conscious of every morsel after morsel of food that enters my mouth.  But if you are dining with a group of people, you tend to forget your food servings as you try to keep up with the conversations.  Get-togethers can be a dieter’s pothole so I should learn to change the way I eat when I am with a group.  Tsk, tsk.

Also, I should instruct the girls who prepare at home to lessen the food they prepare for me.  I  can live by a half-cup of cooked vegetables and a half-cup of brown rice.  I also noticed that my father’s signature drink, the carrot juice with all sorts of add-ons to it,  is not as yummy without pineapple.  Pineapple is a little hard to come by nowadays, that’s why.
