Breaded Soft Tofu with Teriyaki Sauce @ Lachi's Sans Rival Atbp

Tofu:  Nutritious and delicious…

I love Lachi’s Sans Rival Atbp!  Because  although this very popular restaurant in Davao City  is known for their pastries and unforgettable pork ribs, they haven’t forgotten dieters like me.

I had lunch at Lachi’s with Kring Elenzano and the Avatar peeps last Wednesday and since I can’t have pork for a year,  I opted to order their Breaded Soft Tofu with Teriyaki Sauce.

I am crazy about tofu– it is nutritious and very filling.  You just have to have a little imagination to be able to enjoy it in many different ways.  I had boiled firm tofu topped with kimchi before and I liked it.  We  also have stir-fried tofu and bean sprouts at home and even my nephews and niece who are quite picky enjoy it. And once you get used to it, you can even have it steamed without any seasoning.

The next time I’m at Lachi’s, I’ll definitely have the Breaded Soft Tofu with Teriyaki Sauce again.  Lachi’s Sans Rival Atbp, by the way, is located at Ruby Street, Marfori Heights Subdivision, Davao City.

Many thanks to Mike Aviles of Lachi’s Sans Rival Atbp for the wonderful lunch.

I think the secret to cooking tofu is to have it absorb really good sauce.
